"The water felt like a glacier melting across my legs.I must have gasped at the iciness, because Rosaleen looked up and started to laugh." | I like enjoy this passage because it is directly after Lilly and Rosaleen's fight over nothing! it shows how good of friends the two are because of how easily they get over it. It was pretty cool int my opinion that they are getting in the creek when its this dark out. Lilly also describes the clarity of the creek very well. |
Lily and Rosaleen's friendship reminds me of Huck finn and Jim. This is one of the better parts in the book. It shows that lily and rosaleen are preparing to change their lifestyle. Ryan
